VOLUNTEERING FOR CORENA
CORENA is a non-profit organisation with nationwide membership. As we talk about the big picture CORENA’s main focus is on promoting effective use of renewable energy by which the impact of Climatic Change and Carbon emission levels can be reduced. CORENA funds Solar Projects and their installation, and hopes to implement Quick Win Community solar projects all over Australia. As a part of this interest free loans are also provided. For the past 6 years CORENA was able to direct 100% of the project donations to actual project costs which was made possible only because of the CORENA Volunteers. CORENA is run entirely by volunteers and volunteers play the most important role in the expansion of the organisation.
By volunteering for CORENA you’re contributing your valuable time to make this world a much greener and better place to live. By volunteering you can also gain valuable experience, while doing something good for the community.
Things volunteers can do:
- Picking up Admin workload when needed.
- Handling social media accounts and promoting CORENA.
- Constantly updating the progress of the project.
- Developing ideas to improve the CORENA webpage.
- Developing projects for CORENA to fund.
- Developing marketing plan.
- Posting topics in Knowledge Hub.
- Reading energy bills using Sunulator.
All the required support and training (if required) will be provided to the volunteers by CORENA team. Volunteers can contact the Main Volunteer anytime for further assistance and clarifications.
